All India Institute
of Medical science (AIIMS) is one of the prestigious institutes dedicated for
medical sciences. AIIMS aims at providing the best education and also develop
patterns of teaching in undergraduate and post graduate medical education in various
branches, to demonstrate high standards of medical education in India. AIIMS
offers MBBS, MD/MS/M Ch, MDS, MHA, Ph.D and DM courses in medical sciences.
Admission to all these courses is based on the entrance examinations conducted
by the institute. There are six new institutes which are now part of AIIMS and
admission to these colleges is also based on AIIMS entrance exam. The
counselling and admission in Six New AIIMS will be done by the Ministry of
Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
