PSU (Public Sector Units) exam 2013
Latest recruitment procedure for PSU (Public Sector Units) exam 2013 require gate score.Now Many Public Sector Units (PSUs) consider the score of GATE exam for employment screening purposes. The online GATE exam is conducted in the month of January and the offline GATE exam in February. The application forms for this exam were out in the month of September 2012. The candidates received their registration numbers by the mid of December. Those candidates who clear the written exam will be called for the interview rounds and the shortlisted ones for medical examination.
PSU Exam Syllabus
The PSU exam pattern varies from company to company under PSU (Public Sector Undertakings). There are 200 questions to answer in about 2.5 hours. While a correct answer fetches you 1 mark, deduction of 0.25 marks id made for every wrong answer.
The test comprises of 75% of technical questions and 25% of questions on General aptitude and English. The selection process is done in three stages:
Stage 1: Written test
Stage 2: Interview and Group Discussion
Stage 3: Medical Examination
The Syllabus of written test covers:
1. About 120 technical questions usually from the engineering subjects covered in graduation.
2. English & Reading Comprehension includes questions on English vocabulary and grammar
3. General awareness and current affairs
4. Aptitude and Quantitative reasoning
